Description
Ryze Power is looking for a Graduate Commercial Analyst to join our commercial team, supporting research, analysis, and bid preparation across zero-emission transport projects. This is a development role designed to build broad commercial expertise across the full project lifecycle, working alongside experienced colleagues.
What you'll do
- Research funding landscapes, policy developments, and market trends in zero-emission transport, turning findings into concise briefings for senior colleagues
- Analyse competitor activity, customer segments, and procurement frameworks to support commercial strategy
- Maintain commercial databases, pipeline trackers, and market intelligence tools
- Help prepare grant applications, expressions of interest, and bid submissions, coordinating input from technical, finance, and operations colleagues
- Support post-award reporting and compliance monitoring for grant-funded projects
- Maintain the commercial pipeline and CRM records, tracking opportunities through to close
- Support stakeholder engagement, including presentations, briefing notes, and correspondence
- Prepare internal reports, dashboards, and analysis for commercial planning cycles
- Assist in drafting commercial agreements, pricing models, and proposals under senior guidance
What you'll bring
- A degree (or equivalent) in business, economics, engineering, environmental science, public policy, or a related discipline, or evidence of equivalent analytical ability (minimum 2:1)
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesise information clearly
- High standard of written communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Organised and self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Genuine interest in clean energy, zero-emission transport, or green infrastructure
Nice to have
- Exposure to public sector funding programmes (Innovate UK, DfT or local authority grants) or bid-writing
- Familiarity with CRM tools or pipeline tracking systems
- Knowledge of the bus and coach sector, hydrogen technology, or EV infrastructure
- A commercial, analytical, or research-focused internship or placement
