ABOUT THE ROLE

The role will consist of assisting in the further development of the Student Digital Learning Assistant (SDLA) service. The SDLAs provide first line support for students in their use of digital tools by promoting and supporting the effective use of the University’s online services, systems and software.

The graduate will help manage the SDLAs by organising training, preparing rotas, and contributing to wider project work aimed at increasing engagement with the service. This will involve marketing (particularly at our Locksbrook campus), generating social media content, producing promotional videos and assisting with event planning and organisation.

The graduate will also help expand the reach of the service by developing asynchronous digital skills resources. Additionally, there will be opportunities to survey students, evaluate the current service and propose ideas for further improvement.

(This is a 18 Month Full Time Fixed Term Role)

ABOUT YOU

The ideal graduate will be personally interested in the student experience at BSU and motivated to help enhance students’ digital knowledge and confidence. This is a varied role that includes marketing, event support, social media content creation, and the development of educational resources. Above all, we are looking for someone enthusiastic, willing to learn, and ready to contribute their ideas and skills to further develop the SDLA service.
