Graduate Engineer

FM Conway has an exciting opportunity to join our Structures Team. Working on various structural refurbishment projects, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of our construction projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, real-world setting, while gaining valuable experience and professional development. You will work alongside our industry-leading professionals, who will support you on your chosen career path. This is a permanent, full-time position based in our office in Paddington.

The duties of the Graduate Engineer role will include:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Collaborating with senior engineers ensuring projects are executed efficiently
• Working closely with design teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of construction plans
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation including drawing, specifications, and progress reports
• Implementing and enforcing quality control processes ensuring construction activities meet industry standards
• Actively participating in training programs and industry related seminars to stay informed about the latest construction technologies and methodologies

What skills and experience do you need?

We are seeking a construction graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field. You will be competent in AutoCAD, project management software, and you will have knowledge of construction management, structural engineering, or project management. You will possess a genuine passion for delivering excellent service and have a strong ambition to drive and embrace innovation.
