Are you a recent Kingston graduate who is passionate about supporting others to develop their skills, confidence and career aspirations?

We are seeking enthusiastic, engaging and relatable Graduate Facilitators to support the delivery of the Apply coaching workshops within Kingston University's embedded Future Skills Programme.

Working directly with final-year students, you will help facilitate coaching conversations, encourage meaningful reflection on skills, experiences and career goals, and support students to identify, develop and articulate their graduate attributes and professional strengths. As a recent graduate yourself, you will bring valuable insight into the student journey, helping participants build confidence in their abilities and better understand how to present their skills to employers.

As a Graduate Facilitator, you will create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, encourage active participation, and help students engage with employability and career development opportunities. You will work alongside Careers and Employability staff to deliver high-quality workshops that inspire students to take positive action towards their future careers.

The Person

We're seeking a proactive, enthusiastic and confident recent Kingston University graduate with a passion for supporting students to develop their employability, confidence and career readiness.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and engage a diverse range of students. You will be comfortable facilitating discussions, encouraging participation and helping others to recognise and articulate their skills, strengths and achievements.

A positive, supportive and professional approach, combined with an interest in careers, employability and student development, will help you succeed in this role. Experience of mentoring, coaching, peer support, student ambassador work, or delivering presentations would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

Directorate/Function

The Directorate for Students delivers a seamless, high-quality experience for all current and future students to ensure they are ‘sought after’ through enabling and enhancing their access, participation, attainment, and success. It is committed to developing a culture of high performance that is inclusive, innovative, ambitious, and enterprising.
