This is a full-time graduate position within the FP&A team working in our Cambridge office on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days in the office).

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate FP&A Analyst to join our Pioneer Graduate Programme. This role offers a strong foundation in commercial finance and a clear pathway to meaningful responsibility from day one.

Reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager, you will partner closely with stakeholders across the business, contributing directly to the insights and analysis that inform key operational and commercial decisions. Early on, you will develop financial models, evaluate product performance, and support strategic initiatives across areas such as pricing, supply chain, and patient access. You will analyze the drivers of performance, translate data into actionable insight, and help shape decisions about future direction.

What you'll be doing in this role

  • Supporting with the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes including data collection, consolidation, and producing outputs.
  • Building and updating financial models to evaluate pricing, rebates, growth assumptions, and inventory levels.
  • Creating dashboards and automated tools to improve data visibility and reduce manual processes across both financial and commercial datasets.
  • Building and maintaining critical FP&A core datasets around patient numbers, product details, and monthly performance.
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis to support fast commercial decision-making across the business.
  • Continuously improving processes and challenging existing ways of working.

What we're looking for

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to structure problems and work through them logically.
  • Interest in building a career in financial planning and analysis.
  • Curious mindset and a desire to understand the story behind the numbers.
  • Clear communicator who can explain insights simply and confidently.
  • Baseline financial knowledge, whether obtained through education or qualifications.
  • Comfortable working with data and standard business tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools).
  • Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of defined tasks.

Desirable skills but not essential

  • Experience using Excel for complex analysis or modeling.
  • Exposure to Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA/ACCA).
