We are looking for a Graduate Financial Trader to join the trading team; You'll be a hard-working and determined individual, managing portfolio diversification and effectively managing risk. Training will be provided, to help you progress and grow further in the role.
We're looking for a Graduate Financial trader that can trade American stock options.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- MSc, BSc in mathematics, science, engineering, computer science, economics, quantitative finance, or related field. A degree from a top-tier university is preferable
- Previous experience in trading American Stock Options
- A keen interest in financial markets
- Knowledge and Skillful in technical analysis
- Ability to day trade and swing trade
- Great communication and organizational skills
- A confident personality
- Punctual and professional at all times
- Experience and willingness to work in a team
- Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- An ability to thrive in fast-paced and competitive environments
Job responsibilities:
- Execute trades and risk management
- Carry out trading tasks, including trade entry, execute buy and sell orders and reconciliation on a daily basis.
- Research, develop, and implement trading strategies
- Investigate potential profitable trading strategies
- Implement systematic trading techniques to portfolio and risk management, as well as monitor automated trading systems and strategies
- Monitor and analyse global financial markets, economic indicators, news, and geopolitical events to identify trading opportunities and assess market risks
- Apply technical analysis to trades
- Manage and monitor the risk associated with the trading portfolio and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk management guidelines
- Collaborate with research analysts and other teams to gather insights and information for trading decisions.
This role can be fully remote with the option to work full-time or part-time.
Salary and Benefits:
- Base Salary: £25,000 per annum
- Bonus Structure: Performance-based bonus with the potential to earn up to £50,000 in bonuses within your first year
- Total Earnings Potential (OTE): Up to £75,000 in your first year.
- Benefits: 25 days holiday per year, plus ongoing training and development with industry leaders.
