Role Purpose

As a member of the geoscience team, made up of Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geophysics, Subsea Cable Engineering, and Geomatics, you will be required to work under the guidance of more experienced staff in project-based analysis and reporting, proposal writing, group marketing, and technical development in accordance with the quality management system.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in your relevant discipline within geoscience projects to meet quality and budget expectations.
  • Under supervision, perform analysis in the relevant discipline across the geoscience team.
  • Participate in writing comprehensive and detailed reports for projects.
  • Provide support and assistance in client meetings and attendances on site and offshore.
  • Participate in the improvement and up-keep of essential software and analysis tools.
  • Participate in preparing detailed proposals for new work, including costing.
  • Provide support in the marketing of Global Maritime.
  • Assist with the delivery of services across Global Maritime’s business streams as workload demands.

Specific Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required

  • MEng / MSc in relevant degree subject, options including Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Geography or related degree.
  • Graduate/Associate Member of a professional institution.
  • Working ability in a number of design analysis tools.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
