About the Role
As a core member of the HR department, you will take responsibility for supporting both non-academic and academic staff, which in turn plays a vital role in supporting our students. You will be undertaking projects and running events to support the wider strategic objectives of the HR department.
In a vibrant and fast-paced environment, you will be passionate about providing a smooth full HR service, which encompasses the employee life cycle, from issuing contracts to new starters and supporting staff wellbeing and development activities. You will act as an important point of contact for HR enquiries.
This is an 18 Month Full Time Fixed Term Role.
About You
You will be able to communicate confidently with all levels of stakeholders across the University. You will demonstrate an ability to build relationships quickly and effectively, while being flexible and proactive in your approach to work – as no two days will be the same.
As a crucial part of the role, you will have excellent accuracy, attention to detail, and experience of dealing with confidential information and data. You will bring with you previous experience of using IT systems and software along with a demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively when working to competing deadlines.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with people at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Experience using a variety of IT applications.
- Recent administrative experience covering a wide range of activities.
- Recent experience in a customer-facing role.
