Graduate Human Factors Consultant
See it differently
You see the world through a unique lens and that’s exactly what we need. We embrace how you see things differently – it’s essential for creating a sustainable future.
Arup is a global consultancy with advisory and technical expertise across more than 150 disciplines. We guide, plan and design the future of the built environment. Globally, each year we recruit hundreds of graduates to help us see things differently and solve the most complex challenges facing our clients, climate and communities.
Our Management Consulting teams work hand in hand with Arup's entire range of technical experts, meaning clients gain access to insights and opportunities that other consultancies miss. We are economists, business strategists, environmentalists, change managers, investment specialists and digital experts – all united by the desire to shape a better world and produce a more sustainable future for all.
The Opportunity
Our Human Factors service is part of the ‘People and Organisations' practice, one of the 5 Advisory practices in Arup. One of the biggest advantages of our team is the breadth of work that we do; our Advisory Services team works in multi-disciplinary teams with technical experts from across Arup adopting a holistic approach, to develop successful, people-centred solutions.
Human Factors consultants apply their understanding of physical ergonomics, cognitive psychology and organisational behaviour on a wide range of projects in a professional consulting environment. Our work includes, but is not limited to:
-
Design: Human Factors Integration (HFI) and supporting customer experience;
-
Operations: Supporting people flows and enhancing resilience;
-
Change: Using work environments to change behaviours and culture.
You will have the opportunity to explore all services and the ability to build your interests as you grow in the business. You will experience working with clients from day-one, helping to shape how complex organisations deliver sustainable outcomes.
