Role Overview:

As a Graduate Information Security Consultant at Spike Reply, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of security strategies to protect organizational data and systems. You will work closely with senior consultants and clients to identify vulnerabilities and design solutions that meet security requirements. Your responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments, developing security policies, and assisting in compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will participate in security awareness training for clients and keep up to date with the latest security trends and technologies. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting service within Information Security sphere to a variety of existing and prospective Reply Customers
  • Awareness of Hybrid and Multi-Cloud architecture model across AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Awareness and understanding of Zero Trust Framework fundamentals
  • Awareness and understanding of basic concepts for Cloud-native and Cloud-enabled security tools
  • Having a keen eye for detail, you will have the responsibility to proactively identify opportunities to modernise or improve our clients’ Security posture and offer, as part of a team, innovative solutions to complex challenges

About the candidate:

  • Computer Science/IT-related degree with min 2:1 overall grade
  • Initial work experience (e.g. through an internship) as an Information Security Consultant or as a Security Engineer would be an asset
  • Cloud specific and Security Specialty certifications on Azure, AWS or GCP would be desirable
  • Initial exposure to Agile project delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and Atlassian tools Jira & Confluence would make you stand out
