Launch Your IT Career with Arvato

Are you a technically minded graduate who enjoys understanding how things work, solving problems and finding better ways of doing things?

We’re looking for a Graduate IT & Business Process Analyst to join Arvato UK in a unique role sitting between our IT and Business Process Management (BPM) teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career who has an interest in technology, systems and business processes and wants to develop their skills in a fast-paced, operational environment.

What will you be doing?

You’ll help bridge the gap between our business teams and IT, developing an understanding of how our processes and systems work together and identifying opportunities to improve them.

  • Learn how our ERP and wider business systems support day-to-day operations.
  • Work with IT, Business Process Management and operational teams to understand business requirements.
  • Map and analyse existing business processes.
  • Help identify process issues, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the investigation of system and process-related problems.
  • Use data and logical thinking to help identify root causes.
  • Explore how technology, automation and system changes could improve business processes.
  • Help translate business requirements into clear information for technical teams.
  • Support testing and implementation of system and process improvements.
  • Build your technical knowledge and understanding of ERP systems, coding, and process management.

What are we looking for?

We don’t expect you to arrive knowing everything. This is a graduate opportunity, so we're interested in your technical aptitude, curiosity and potential to develop.

We'd particularly like to hear from graduates with:

  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business & Technology or a related subject.
  • An understanding of ERP systems and how technology supports business operations.
  • Some exposure to coding, programming or scripting, either through university, projects or personal learning.
  • An interest in business processes and process improvement.
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
  • A structured and process-driven approach to work.
  • The confidence to ask questions and challenge how things are currently done.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • A genuine interest in developing a career where technology meets business improvement.

What will make you successful?

You don't need to be an experienced developer or ERP specialist.

We’re looking for someone who can look at a business problem and think:

“Why is this happening, how does the process work, what is the system doing, and how could we make it better?”

If you're naturally curious, enjoy problem solving and want to build a career combining IT, systems, data and business process improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

Benefits

  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays with the option to purchase up to an additional 5 days
  • Pension contribution
  • A life assurance policy that pays out 4 x Salary
  • Employee Assistance Programme that provides you with confidential support, information, and advice to help you
  • Employee Discount Scheme through Benefit Hub
  • Free Parking
