Law training contract

We are looking for a brilliant and highly motivated law graduate with an enthusiasm for media law to join our friendly and supportive legal team as a Graduate Legal Apprentice.

This is a unique opportunity to work in ITN’s Legal and Compliance team and gain real-world legal experience in an exciting, fast-paced environment whilst studying for both parts of the Solicitor’s Qualifying Exam (SQE) as part of the Graduate Entry Legal Apprentice Scheme.

ITN is a global production powerhouse that produces news programming for ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 and thousands of hours of factual and live content for the major UK and international broadcasters and streaming platforms via ITN Productions, the award-winning creative content production arm of ITN.

This apprenticeship includes full payment of course fees and a competitive salary throughout the programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop your skills and legal knowledge in areas such as intellectual property, contract law and compliance whilst working with the highly experienced legal team across all areas of the ITN business including TV production, distribution, news, partnerships and archive
  • Study for the Level 7 Graduate Legal Apprentice qualification learning both on and off the job

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must have:

  • UK Bachelor's degree in law at 2.1 or above, or GDL at Commendation level or above, completed on or after July 2022
  • GCSE English and Maths at Level C/4 or above, or equivalent
  • Right to permanently live and work in the UK
