Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll help produce design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, while gaining exposure to site surveys, installation activities, and project delivery. You’ll contribute to innovative engineering solutions that improve essential infrastructure, protect the environment, and support sustainable communities.
Perfect for
Graduates who are passionate about engineering and want to make a real impact through infrastructure and environmental projects. You’ll be curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with strong problem-solving skills and an interest in mechanical, electrical, and control systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, tackling technical challenges, and developing a broad engineering skillset across design and project delivery.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You’ll need (or be on track to achieve) a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation Control Engineering or a related engineering discipline, with a minimum 2:2 classification.
Training Programme
Our 2-year Graduate Programme combines structured training with hands-on experience, giving you real responsibility from day one. You'll learn directly alongside industry experts in a collaborative, supportive environment. We invest in your continuous professional development, giving you the tools, confidence, and clear progression path to build a long-term career within OCU.
