Graduate Programmes available with EDF
Finance
Over three years, you’ll rotate across different Finance teams, gaining hands on experience in planning, reporting and analysis. You’ll study for your fully funded CIMA qualification with support from expert mentors. This programme is designed to develop the technical and professional skills you need to become a confident finance professional.
Procurement
Join our two year Procurement Graduate programme to gain hands on experience and a fully funded CIPS Level 4 qualification. You’ll rotate across procurement teams, develop leadership and negotiation skills, and receive support from experienced mentors to shape a career that’s truly your own.
Electrical Engineering
Join our 16-month Electrical Engineering Graduate Programme. You’ll benefit from tailored training, rotate through placements across our nuclear new build sites, gaining experience in system design, commissioning and compliance.
Human Factors Engineering
Join this two-year Science & Engineering programme offering placements across Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater and Aztec West. You’ll rotate through placements across our new build sites, central teams and operating stations, gaining experience in safety case development and human performance.
Instrumentation & Control Engineering
Gain real-world experience and refine your technical expertise through our 16-month Science & Engineering training programme. From day one, you’ll help drive innovation at Hinkley Point C by delivering the highest standards of safety, quality, efficiency and engineering excellence.
Materials Engineering
This 16-month Science & Engineering training programme puts you at the heart of nuclear innovation, where the smallest details make the biggest difference. Work alongside industry experts, contribute to high-impact projects, and shape the materials that power the UK’s low-carbon future.
Nuclear Security and Cyber
During this placement, you will have a unique chance to gain hands-on experience protecting the UK’s energy infrastructure. With tailored training and expert mentoring, you will build your technical capability and leadership skills while actively supporting regulatory compliance and resilience across critical systems.
Physics
Join this 16-month Physics Science and Engineering Programme and you’ll rotate through technical placements, gaining hands-on experience on real-world projects. You’ll be supported with expert mentoring and structured development - all while earning and working towards professional accreditation, fully funded by us.
Supply Chain
Our two-year Supply Chain development programme offering dynamic rotations across Nuclear New Build sites and operating stations. You will build expertise in contract management, cost forecasting, supplier development and strategic sourcing - all while working towards a fully funded and industry-recognised CIPS Level 4 Diploma.
