Graduate PCB Layout Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate PCB Layout Engineer to join a growing tech company in Edinburgh. This is a rare chance for a Graduate PCB Layout Engineer to be fully trained in specialist board-level layout techniques for advanced electronics products.

As a Graduate PCB Layout Engineer, you’ll support the development of complex boards, learning to translate schematics and datasheets into precise PCB layouts while considering factors like RF routing, analogue/digital separation, and IPC standards. The company will provide full training in tools, processes, and standards.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related subject
• Some exposure to PCB layout through university projects or placements
• An understanding of datasheets and schematics
• Good attention to detail and an organised, structured approach
