Overall Purpose of the Job
Testing of professional digital mixing consoles and related products, to verify that products operate as expected. To provide support to R&D teams and customers.
Main Activities & Responsibilities
The job entails audio hardware and software testing activities combined with digital mixing console usage. Strong audio knowledge is required. Previous experience with DiGiCo consoles is desired. Training in console operation, console testing practices, and the administration of error reporting will be provided.
- Test against the defined specification of products and features for all application and embedded software, in new and existing DiGiCo, KLANG & Fourier products.
- Work as part of the test team to test and prove fixes to known, existing issues.
- Investigating, analysing, and reporting issues found in the defect tracking database with all relevant information.
- Assist the Test Team Lead in prioritisation of issues in new and existing products.
- Assist the Test Team Lead in the creation of test documentation and procedures.
- Assist in the creation of training, technical and support material for existing and new products, in particular sharing of relevant knowledge on new features that have gone through a full specify, develop, test, and release cycle.
- Gaining in-depth experience in areas of technology, operational techniques and operating environments relevant to the testing of company products.
- Provide support to and knowledge share with the Student Test Engineers.
- Provide technical support on products and operating environments to R&D teams.
