Based in Chessington, we are looking for a Graduate Product Test Engineer to work in our Product Test team.

Job Description

To carry out activities on pro-audio mixing consoles to test their capabilities.

The job entails audio hardware and software testing activities combined with digital mixing console usage. This will involve testing new features as they are developed, testing fixes for known problems and reporting any problems encountered during your tests. Strong audio knowledge is required, previous experience with DiGiCo consoles is desired. Training in consoles operation, console testing practices, and the administration of error reporting will be provided.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Testing of professional digital mixing consoles and related products to verify that products operate as expected, providing support to R&D teams and customers.
  • Test against the defined specification of products and features for all application and embedded software, in new and existing DiGiCo, KLANG & Fourier products.
  • Work as part of the test team to test and prove fixes to known, existing issues.
  • Investigating, analysing, and reporting issues found in the defect tracking database with all relevant information.
  • Assist the Test Team Lead in the prioritisation of issues in new and existing products.
  • Assist the Test Team Lead in the creation of test documentation and procedures.
  • Assist in the creation of training, technical and support material for existing and new products, particularly sharing knowledge on new features that have gone through a full specify, develop, test, and release cycle.
  • Gaining in-depth experience in areas of technology, operational techniques, and operating environments relevant to the testing of company products.
  • Provide support to and knowledge share with the Student Test Engineers.
  • Provide technical support on products and operating environments to R&D teams.
  • Other reasonable tasks may be assigned to support the department.

There may also be occasional on-site work.

Education / Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Audio/Sound Engineering or a related field.

Contract Type:

Full time (37.5 hours per week)
