Job Summary:
Lúnasa is looking for a Graduate Robotics Engineer to join our team and help develop precise and adaptive robotic systems. We own an in-house robotic dark room test facility with state-of-the-art technologies, which is used to test in orbit satellite servicing mission scenarios. If you have hands-on experience with robotic arms, we want to hear from you!
Key Skills and Experience:
- Develop, test, and deploy motion planning and control algorithms using ROS and MoveIt
- Integrate and operate collaborative robotic arms (UR16e, UR30, etc.) for space-related applications
- Perform reference frame transformations, calibration, and kinematic modeling
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure smooth integration and real-time performance
- Debug robotic issues, from joint-space motion to Cartesian trajectory planning
Essential Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Universal Robots or similar industrial/collaborative arms
- Proficiency with ROS and MoveIt
- Solid grasp of linear algebra, quaternions, and transforms
- Strong coding skills in Python
- Experience with Gazebo, RViz, or other simulation tools
