Graduate job

Trinity is the place for you.

Situated in leafy Hither Green, Trinity Church of England School Lewisham is a beautiful Victorian building with space to learn, grow, explore and develop young people into globally conscious citizens.

An opening has come up as the current post-holder is doing teacher training in September.

We are looking for a full-time Graduate Teaching & Learning Assistant to work alongside our fantastic teachers, supporting the progress and attainment of our pupils. This may include assisting the teacher in their planning and management/preparation of resources, acting as a key worker for a small group of students, liaising with teaching staff and parents to ensure good communication and effective learning, behaviour, attendance and progress of pupils.

You are at the top of your game, you’ll have great behaviours, high organisational skills, the ability to collaborate effectively, and be able to work constructively as part of a team.

Your ability to use your initiative, work independently and be resilient are of great importance to all of us at Trinity.

In return you’ll be joining a great team, about which Ofsted commented, “Staff are proud to work here. They appreciate that leaders take workload and well-being into consideration.”

You’ll do all this whilst capturing the spirit of our vision and values; role-modelling exceptional professional behaviours and developing a career you are proud of.

This post is 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday), term time only, +5 days. 8:00am-4:00pm.

If you think you can contribute to the future success of Trinity and wish to join our thriving community, please review our application pack and apply for the position.

The Interview will be Tuesday 17th June or Wednesday 18th June 2025

We encourage applicants from the BAME community as our governors are keen to ensure our staff is representative of our school’s diverse community.

The school is committed to the promotion of equal opportunities and diversity. We have a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure for the Disclosure and Barring Service.
