Hazel Tree Education is currently supporting an independent specialist school in Warrington, which caters for learners aged 6-16 with Autistic Spectrum Condition and associated learning needs.
The school requires an enthusiastic and capable Teaching Assistant as soon as possible to support learners full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.30 am - 3.30 pm.
This is a temporary position, although it could span long-term for the right candidate.
What we're looking for:
- A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting (e.g., school, residential, sports coaching).
- An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
- A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.
Successful candidates must have:
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one.
- At least two references, including the most recent/current employer.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
