About the role
Please note that the advertised salary for this position is subject to a pending pay award. The final salary will be adjusted in line with the nationally agreed pay award.
An opportunity for a Welsh-speaking graduate who intends to enroll for an approved vocational qualification in Archive Administration. This post, based at Ceredigion Archives in Aberystwyth, will give the successful candidate the opportunity to experience and participate in the work of a small County Archive Service, equipping them with skills useful for their anticipated career. The duration of the post is for up to six months.

Customer Contact & ICT
Our service has a range of responsibilities from providing advice and support to the residents of Ceredigion to providing corporate support via our ICT, reception and mailroom teams. Our service is responsible for the following functions:
- Civil Registration: Births, deaths, and marriages
- Corporate Customer Services: Blue badge; Contact centre; Mailroom and scanning; Receptions
- ICT and Information Management: Archives and modern records; ICT support; Infrastructure and security; Project and application support; Reprographics, Technical support, Software development
- Library Services
