Job Description
Working in a hybrid style, based at home and Dundee House office, you will work full-time, 37 hours per week, on a fixed-term basis for 3 years.
Requirements
You will have a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Health or relevant science, and Membership of appropriate professional body (REHIS, CIWM or IMS).
Responsibilities
You will assist and support the Regulatory Services staff in the various areas of related work and service provision, whilst undertaking the associated structured practical training to meet the requirements of the REHIS Scheme of Professional Practice for trainee/student Environmental Health Officers.
The Individual
You will have experience of working or general service provision to the general public. Working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Office 365, Teams, Word, Excel is essential. You will have excellent organisational and development skills, good communication skills – verbal and written, along with experience of report writing and providing effective presentations. You will have the ability to complete the 48 week training programme associated with the REHIS Scheme of Professional Practice.
