We are looking to recruit a graduate trainee to support our long-term expansion plans. Being part of a small yet growing logistics business means that you will get great training across all areas of the business and at all levels. One month you will be resolving client issues in our Customer Advisory department, the next rotation you might be sorting parcels at 5am and then the following day you will be with the owners of the business discussing future strategy. This is an exciting yet challenging opportunity to learn how all areas of a logistic business works.
The training programme includes:

Quick fire all departments ‘learn the business’ module
-
Customer Advisory – compliance and customer support
-
Operations – morning sort, day operations, evening shift, driving
-
Sales and marketing – acquiring new customers, pricing, producing marketing collateral
-
Project work for the directors
You need to be willing to take ownership for achieving results, think on your feet and not be afraid to ‘roll your sleeves up’. Your standard working hours will typically be 9am to 6pm. However, adaptability is essential as shift rotations are a key part of learning how the business operates across our 17-hour day.
What we are looking for
Essential requirements

2:1 degree or above, achieved in the last 2 years
-
Minimum of 3 B grades at GCE A Level or equivalent
-
Some paid work experience (any sector)
-
Full manual UK driving licence with no endorsements

Located within commuting distance of Baldock
-
Successful candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK from the start of employment

This is a 12-month training programme designed to support our long-term growth.
Our aim is that by the end of the scheme, you will have developed the knowledge and experience to move into a permanent role within the business.
