As a Care Assistant at Henley Care Ltd, you will support people in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life. This role is ideal for university students seeking practical healthcare experience alongside their studies.
Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, helping with washing, dressing and hygiene, preparing meals, assisting with mobility and offering companionship and emotional support. You will follow care plans, maintain accurate records, promote choice and independence, and report any concerns or changes in wellbeing promptly.
You may support clients with disabilities, neurological conditions and complex care needs, working alongside experienced carers and nurses. All duties will reflect your training, competence and the support each client requires.
We provide paid induction, ongoing training and opportunities to develop skills. Flexible part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends, can help you balance work with university commitments while exploring future career opportunities in care and nursing.
