Are you a recent graduate looking to build a meaningful career where you can combine property management with real social purpose?

We are offering a Graduate Trainee Housing Officer opportunity within our Home Turf Lettings service. This is a development role designed to give you hands-on experience in tenancy and property management while supporting people to sustain safe and stable homes.

You will receive structured supervision, formal training, and a clear progression pathway into a Housing Officer role.

About the Role

As a Graduate Trainee Housing Officer, you will:

  • Learn to manage a portfolio of tenancies and properties

  • Support tenants to successfully sustain their tenancies

  • Work with landlords and partner agencies

  • Develop knowledge of housing law and tenancy management

  • Assist with property inspections and maintenance coordination

  • Support rent account monitoring and arrears management

  • Promote independence and social inclusion

  • You will work alongside people who may be experiencing homelessness, substance misuse challenges, or other vulnerabilities. A person-centred, non-judgemental approach is essential.

  • Previous housing experience is not required — we are looking for potential, motivation, and the right values.
