Description
Millennium Hotels and Resorts UK are looking for an HR Internship to join our corporate HR team. You’ll need to be a people person and have emotional intelligence to work with a wide variety of people and solve problems that arise.
As an HR Intern, you will support the Corporate HR as well as the Hotels HR team. The role will revolve around daily duties and general office administration, and you will be involved in various HR projects within the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the HR in their daily duties.
- Support all employees with their HR queries, understand and explain the HR processes.
- HR Administration: Follow-up on employee accounts, take notice of days off, lieu days, and sick leaves.
- Follow projects of the HR departments.
- HR administration for starters, leavers, transfers, maternity, and monitoring of probation periods ensuring action and production of documentation within specified time frames.
- Maintain Employee Files in line with the Data Protection Act.
- Provide support to Hotels HR teams and businesses, including performance management and absence management.
Requirements
- Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A flexible approach to work, with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player approach with the ability to network.
- Fluency in the English language (verbal and written).
- Curiosity and appetite for continuous learning.
