Job Profile Description
Main Purpose of the Role & Responsibilities in the Business
As a HR Placement within the People Operations team in Kainos, you will spend your year learning about the People Operations function in a fast-paced, challenging PLC environment. You’ll have support and mentoring, balanced with the experience of being given meaningful work to do to help you truly develop both technically and professionally.
You’ll perform a wide variety of HR tasks which will include, but is not limited to, the following duties:
- Support the Kainos People Team in all areas of their work
- Deal competently with internal and external support queries, resolving them in a timely manner & seeking support from the team as required
- Participate in project work as directed
- Co-ordinate all People Operations administration for the full employee life cycle
- General department administration including preparation of communications, presentations, and the maintenance of spreadsheets, reports and ongoing maintenance of HRIS
- Providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers
- Providing support to the People Operations management team as required
Minimum (Essential) Requirements
- Currently studying HR, business or relevant degree
- Capable of working with limited supervision
- Applying all relevant standards and procedures to your own work
- Complying with confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and ensuring security of information
- Credible, professional person with strong communication skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- Flexible, “can do” attitude, with the ability to manage your own time and enthusiastic to learn

Working Arrangements
This role is hybrid. Upon joining, you will be expected to work in your contracted office for one day per week.
Travel expectations
At Kainos, we work with a diverse range of clients and some of our projects require travel. We will endeavour to keep this to a minimum and ensure sufficient notice is provided.
