The Opportunity

On this 10–12-month Internship you'll work alongside skilled professionals and from day one you will be working on real life meaningful projects – adding value to clients, while exploring challenges with curiosity and creativity.  You'll learn from others and begin creating your professional network ready for when you graduate. There will be regular learning sessions with our leadership team, opportunities for site visits to local projects and all kinds of social events that will support your learning and development.

Our Electrical Engineers apply their specialist skills to infrastructure projects across the globe. We offer our clients a broad spectrum of expertise and consulting services in, but not limited to the following industries:   

  • Water - Clean water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, reservoirs, water distribution.   
  • Energy - Hydro, CHP, waste-to-energy, wind, gas, PV Solar, hydrogen, biogas.
  • Power - Energy Storage, HV/LV Transmission and Distribution.   
  • Industrial Clients - Process systems, power and steam generation, chemical handling.   
  • Process - Food and beverage processing.  

As an Electrical Engineer with drive, you will be a key part of the team, you will be producing Single Line Diagrams, Load schedules, Instrument and Telemetry Schedules, Cable Calculations, Specifications and General Arrangements as well as developing Outline Installation Method Statements. Your role will involve working with Mechanical, Process and Civil Engineers in a stimulating environment with a myriad of opportunities to apply your knowledge and expertise to a range of exciting projects.

You'll provide support to team members to deliver an effective and professional service to our clients. Due to the multi-disciplinary nature of our design teams, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experts. While you'll have a great deal of responsibility from day one, we'll give you the chance to take on more as you progress and broaden your skills. 

Is this role right for you?

We are looking for candidates who are working towards a bachelor's or master's level degree in Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, Engineering Science, Power Systems Engineering, Energy Engineering or Communications Engineering.
