The Role

Join Kinetic's KxWelcome development team and help lead our AI-first approach to software engineering. Working closely with the technical lead, your role will be to develop features across our .NET backend and Angular frontend while pioneering how we use AI tools in our daily workflow.

You will use AI coding assistants as your primary partner for writing, reviewing, and understanding code. Success in this role means learning to craft effective prompts, critically evaluate AI-generated output, and identify where AI can accelerate our development process, all while applying software engineering best practices to ensure quality, maintainable code.

Beyond day-to-day development, you will investigate emerging AI tools and techniques, evaluate their potential, and work with the technical lead to apply these approaches across the team and wider business. This is an opportunity to shape how we work as AI tooling evolves, contributing to building AI-driven features that enhance the student and staff experience.

You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and QA teams, participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing as we continue modernizing our platform.
