FRONT OF HOUSE INTERN

As an intern with us, you'll spend a year rotating across several key departments — Food Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and our behind-the-scenes support teams — spending dedicated time within each one. Rather than settling into a single role, you'll build genuine, hands-on experience across the hotel, gaining new skills and flexibility as you go. It's a unique opportunity to work alongside supportive, experienced teams, take on real responsibility, and come away with a well-rounded foundation in hospitality.

ABOUT US

Our properties operate under two major brands, Hilton and IHG, offering trusted, world-class service. All our hotels are proudly Green Key Accredited, reflecting our commitment to sustainability.

OUR VALUES

We care deeply about our people and communities, empower each other to grow and succeed, embrace inclusivity, creating a welcoming environment for all, innovate to continuously improve, and remain sustainable to protect our future.

  • Exclusive hotel discounts within the Crimson Hotel Group and the worldwide Hilton brand
  • Extra Day Off for Your Birthday – Because your day matters
  • Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing
  • Free refreshments and freshly cooked meals while on duty
  • Learning and development opportunities for career progression
  • Health Benefit schemes
  • Recognition and reward schemes
  • Pension Scheme Life Assurance
  • Discounts in our FB Outlet

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE?

When you’re in FB, a day will look like:

You'll start by welcoming guests with a warm, professional approach, serving them across various outlets including the bar, club lounge, restaurant, conference areas, and through room service. Throughout the day, you'll use your knowledge of food, wines, beers, and spirits to enhance the guest experience and ensure service is smooth and attentive. You'll be involved in setting up and closing down the service areas, always maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in line with health and safety regulations. Working as part of a supportive team, you'll help create a welcoming and seamless dining experience for every guest.

When you're in Front Office, a day will look like:

You'll start your day by warmly welcoming and checking in guests, ensuring all their details are accurately entered into our system. Throughout the day, you'll assist guests with any needs they may have during their stay, answer phone calls, take payments, and make any necessary changes to reservations. You'll also play a key role in resolving guest complaints in a professional and timely manner, helping to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.

When you’re in Housekeeping, a day will look like:

You'll spend part of your day performing room cleans and learning the standards and attention to detail required to prepare guest rooms to brand standards. The rest of your time will be spent alongside our Housekeeping Supervisor, gaining insight into how the department is run, from allocating daily work assignments and conducting inspections of rooms, corridors, and storerooms, to managing supplies and equipment, and following key procedures such as lost and found, key control, security, and emergency protocols.

When you’re in our Support Team, a day will look like:

Our hotel only operates thanks to the many people working behind the scenes. During this rotation, you'll spend time with our Accounts team, learning how invoicing, payments, and financial processes keep the hotel running smoothly. You'll also gain exposure to Reservations, understanding how bookings are managed and guest requests coordinated ahead of arrival, as well as Groups, learning how larger bookings and events are planned and delivered from start to finish. Across each area, you'll build a broader understanding of the essential functions that support the guest experience, even when working out of sight.

100 Queen’s Gate Hotel – London Kensington was the former home of Victorian aristocrat William Alexander which has been stunningly transformed into a luxury hotel. The property embraces the building’s heritage and has been lovingly converted from seven Victorian Townhouses, with no two bedrooms within the hotel being the same.

Nestled in the heart of South Kensington, this iconic address is located just steps away from London’s most renowned cultural attractions, including the Natural History Museum, Hyde Park, and the Royal Albert Hall.

Guests can drink, dine and unwind in elegant surroundings at their restaurant of choice. Botanica is a light-filled atrium where visitors can enjoy the quintessential British tradition of Afternoon Tea, while ESQ is a stylish bar where resident mixologists craft innovative cocktails served alongside small plates and main meals.
