Power your future with your IT skills and our passion for excellence! Our market-leading equipment rental company is growing, and we have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Support Student Placement. Gain hands-on experience supporting our computer systems and network infrastructure in a fast-paced commercial environment.
What You Will Do
- Providing first-line IT support to staff (hardware, software, and network issues)
- Setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Supporting Microsoft 365 administration (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
- Assisting with cybersecurity best practices and data protection
- Maintaining IT documentation and asset registers
- Supporting system upgrades, backups, and infrastructure improvements
- Assisting with company website updates and digital systems where required
What You Will Need
- Currently studying towards a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good understanding of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
- Basic knowledge of networking principles
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical staff
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
