About the Role
This is a year-long training programme designed to help you build the skills and confidence you need to teach. You'll spend time learning educational theory, planning engaging lessons, and working directly with pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and preparing lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
- Supporting pupils' learning and helping them achieve their potential
- Assessing pupils' progress and giving helpful feedback
- Building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
- Reflecting on your practice and using feedback to improve
We are looking for Someone Who
- Holds a UK degree or equivalent qualification
- Has achieved grade 4 GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths, plus a science subject if training to teach ages 3-11
- Shows genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people
- Is flexible, resilient, and committed to high standards
- Respects others and upholds values such as fairness, respect, and equality

What We Offer
- A 5-day school orientation before summer ends, so you can settle in early
- A 2-week summer school to prepare you for the classroom
- Weekly coaching sessions with constructive feedback and clear goals
- Support from a trained lead planner to help you create effective lessons
- Regular training sessions with tutors and fellow trainees
