About the role

As a Junior Content Designer on a 12-month undergraduate placement, you'll play a key part in shaping the digital experiences our customers use every day. Working within our Digital Customer Experience team, you'll help create, edit and improve content across our digital platforms, including our website, mobile app, self-service tools and customer communications.

You'll collaborate closely with our Content Designer and the wider digital team to produce content that is clear, accessible and focused on user needs. You'll learn how customer journeys are designed and maintained, update content within our content management system (CMS), and use customer insights to support improvements. Your role will involve reviewing content to make sure it is accurate, consistent and written in plain English, while also contributing to the development of seamless digital experiences.

This placement will give you hands-on experience with digital content creation, UX writing and customer-centric design, all within a team that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.

About you

You're someone who enjoys writing and can naturally explain things in a clear, simple and engaging way. You are curious about digital experiences and interested in how great content helps customers complete tasks with ease. You pay attention to detail, feel confident organising information and are comfortable working with different colleagues from across the business.

You may have some experience creating, editing or writing content, and you're excited to learn more about digital trends, customer journeys and the principles of Plain English. Any exposure to content management systems, UX, user research or digital communications would be helpful but is not essential. Most importantly, you bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Please note you will be employed through our provider Pertemps.
