About the role
As a Junior Copywriter, you’ll play an important role in shaping the written communications our customers receive every day. Working within our Customer Experience team, you’ll support the creation, editing, and maintenance of content across our customer letter suite.
You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation to produce clear, professional customer letters in plain English, aligned with our NWL tone of voice and style.
In this role, you’ll learn how customer journeys work and how written communications support the overall customer experience. You’ll review and update letters to ensure they are accurate, consistent, accessible, and easy to understand, while using customer insights and feedback to support continuous improvement.
You’ll also help explore new ways of working, including the use of tools such as AI (e.g. Copilot), to improve the efficiency and quality of our communications.
This is a great opportunity to develop your writing, editing, and stakeholder skills in a team that is focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences and continuous improvement.
About you
You’re someone who enjoys writing and can communicate information in a clear, simple, and engaging way. You have a keen interest in language and customer experience, and you understand the importance of writing in plain English.
You’re detail-focused and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You’re comfortable working with colleagues across different teams and are keen to learn, develop, and contribute to improving customer communications.
You may already have some experience in writing, editing, or managing content, and you’re interested in how effective communication can improve customer understanding and satisfaction.
Experience in areas such as customer service, marketing, journalism, or digital content would be beneficial but isn’t essential. What matters most is your enthusiasm, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
