Building Trust, Restoring Homes

At Ferris UK, our mission is simple: to bring genuine customer service to the construction industry. We specialise in insurance repair, reinstatement, and restoration projects, helping people put their homes back together after fire and flood damage.

We’re a family-founded and led business with a reputation for doing things the right way! As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Junior / Graduate Surveyor to join our team, grow their skills, and share our values of quality, care, and customer service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assisting with the assessment and management of small works and repair projects from start to finish.
  • Learning to conduct professional property surveys for insurance claims under senior guidance.
  • Liaising directly with clients, contractors, and insurers as you build key relationships.
  • Supporting project quality control to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance.
  • Working hands-on both on-site and in the office to gain practical, real-world industry experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A relevant qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical entry-level experience).
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude with strong attention to detail.
  • A full UK driving licence is required for this role (site visits will be a key part of your development).
  • Basic knowledge or experience using estimation software like Xactimate is highly beneficial, but full training will be provided.

Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position offering a stable annual salary and a clear path for career development—not a self-employed or CIS opportunity.

Why Join Ferris UK?

  • Be Part of Something: Work with a company that’s redefining service in construction.
  • Grow with Us: We actively invest in training, mentorship, and continuous personal development to help you qualify and progress.
  • Feel Valued: Competitive salary, company vehicle/car allowance, fuel card, plus holiday entitlement that grows with service (up to 5 extra days).
  • Join a Family, not a Number: We’re a family business with genuine care for our team.
  • Supportive Team Culture: You’ll learn directly alongside skilled, friendly colleagues who embody our values.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary + company car or car allowance + fuel card.
  • Holiday entitlement that increases with service.
  • 2 x Personal Holiday Days (because balance matters!).
  • Full-time, permanent employment with long-term stability and structured career progression.

Take the first step toward building your future with Ferris UK Ltd!
