Kindergarten & Primary Homeroom Teacher Position

Main Duties & Responsibilities of Kindergarten & Primary Homeroom Teachers will include:

• Providing effective teaching according to the Job Description provided by the each department; for 18-20 periods per week (assigned subjects will depend on an individual timetable).
• Preparing classroom and course materials/lesson plans.
• Undertaking such additional responsibilities and duties as may be requested or assigned by the Principal; (i.e. gate duty, assembly duty, break/lunch duty).
• Be responsible for examination and invigilating.
• Handling administrative tasks (i.e. grade students’ assessments, report, and etc.)
• Participating in the extra-curricular activities, school duties/activities assigned by school.
• Be a representative of our school as an English Homeroom Teacher to communicate with school stakeholders.
• Devoting an attention and skills to the responsibilities, duties and assignments required by the School during working hours from 07.45 a.m.-04.30 p.m.

Key Skills

• A university qualification is a minimum requirement under regulations set by the Thai Ministry of Education, preferably a PGCE/Elementary level.
• Holding years of teaching experience would be competitive.
• Exhibit a strong passion to teach young kids with mixed second-language abilities.
• Showing outstanding characteristics; energetic, compassionate, resilient, and initiative.
• Willing to make Phuket province home for a minimum of 1-2 years.
• Holding a mature attitude towards work and a growth mindset.
• Holding basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media, Zoom, Google Drive, Gmail or Microsoft Outlook, or new digital learning platform would be ideal.
• Handling administrative tasks and communicating with our school stakeholders (colleagues, parents)
• Driver's license (if any).
