While there are specific qualifications required for our various programs, we recognize that exceptional candidates come from a range of backgrounds. Most of all, we’re looking for people who are eager to learn, willing to contribute, and excited to grow their careers in an environment that is ambitious, supportive, and team oriented.

To be able to apply for our Vacation Scheme, you'll need to be in the penultimate year of your degree or beyond.

You will also need to confirm that you meet the following criteria:

• Have achieved AAB A Levels (or equivalent)

• Have achieved, or are on track to achieve, a 2:1 for your degree

• Available to start your Training Contract in September 2029 or 2030

• Available to attend the Spring Vacation Scheme from 5 - 16 April 2027

Vacation schemes

Our London Vacation Scheme lets you experience what it's like to be a trainee solicitor at Winston Taylor.

From your first day, you'll benefit from comprehensive training and support. Our induction program will introduce you to our partners, employees and business strategy, helping you build a strong understanding of the firm and how we work. You'll also be paired with a current trainee as your buddy, alongside a supervisor, both of whom can provide guidance, answer your questions and share their experiences.

You’ll spend two weeks immersed in two different practice areas, gaining first-hand experience under the supervision of our approachable associates and partners. You'll also be involved in socials, networking opportunities, pro bono work, and more, so you'll end the scheme with invaluable experience and a clear sense of career direction.

To be eligible, you'll need to be in the second year of your degree or beyond. We also welcome applications from those who have graduated, as well as career changers.

Completing a Vacation Scheme with us is the only way to be considered for a training contract.
