The Position

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has recently graduated, with a science background. The role is a rotational programme with opportunity to work across five sections within the Roche UK License to Operate (LTO) department. The five sections include Quality, Patient Safety, Regulatory, Medical Clinical Operations and Medical Information. The programme will run for 2 years allowing you to spend time in multiple sections. The positions are based at Welwyn with possible home office opportunities.

Background of each LTO Section

Quality

Responsible for the administration and operational management of key GxP Quality Management System (QMS) processes and supporting the Local Quality Responsible (LQR) and Qualified Persons (QP) to fulfill the company and legal obligations.

Regulatory

The Regulatory group works with the wider business to translate the constantly evolving requirements of the UK Regulatory environment into Roche policies, procedures, solutions and strategies that ensure compliance and maximise the value for patients.

Patient Safety

The team is responsible for ensuring that safety information is collected and recorded accurately and to a high standard. This involves actively partnering with the business to ensure the correct process is followed for new and ongoing activities such as Non-Interventional Studies (NIS), digital activities, market research and patient support programmes.

Medical Clinical Operations (MCO)

The MCO team provide clinical operations experience in managing funded interventional and non-interventional studies, managed non interventional studies and pre-approval access programs. Within this role we have the opportunity to work across the business and externally with the sites that are running our studies.

Medical Information

The Medical Information team contributes to the safe and effective use of Roche medicines by using their knowledge of Roche products and disease areas to respond to scientific, technical and medical enquiries from external healthcare professionals (HCPs), patients & members of the public via phone or email.

Essential requirements

In order to be successful in this role you will have the following skills:

• Excellent computer & digital skills
• Ability to work reliably and flexibly
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team and to develop effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues
• A recent BSc life science/pharmaceutical/biomedical science degree of 2:1 or above
