Management Accounts Assistant - Undergraduate Placement
Pirelli is a truly international group and is one of the world's leading manufacturers of high-performance tyres. Pirelli UK Tyres Ltd is the company responsible for all the Pirelli Tyre related operations in the UK.
The Finance function is based in Burton on Trent Head Office and is responsible for Pirelli UK Tyres Ltd and its subsidiaries.
Main duties include:
- Sales, margin and profitability performance analysis
- Credit analysis and review
- Auditing logistic credits
- Reporting and analysis on internal invoices
- Expense forecasting and budget monitoring
- Depreciation and labour cost forecasting
- Support with monthly closing and management reporting activities
- Preparation of the Management Plan and financial forecasts
- Management and processing of official price transfers
- Updating labour rates and costs for forecasting purposes
- Creating a profit and loss report
Our Requirements:
- Studying towards an Accounting / Finance related degree
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Adaptable to change and a flexible approach to work
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Relevant work experience is advantageous but not essential
