Location: Maidenhead.
Duration: 12 month contracted internship, ideally starting in July 2026.
Salary: Foundation Living Wage £26,208 per annum.

MCFT, established 30 years ago, provides commercial kitchen maintenance for high-end customers in the UK, Netherlands, Philippines, and Middle East. We are the market leader within our industry, working with global customers who appreciate our “best-in-class” service.
We are looking for undergraduates who have an interest in all aspects of business and want to experience what it is like to work in a high achieving SME. If you want to make an impact and get involved in meaningful and business crucial functions during your internship, while being willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved, we want to hear from you.
We will ensure you gain a real insight into our business. We want to work with you to make sure your talents and learning are maximised! You will find the work challenging and interesting, and you will be treated as a key part of our team. A clear structured development programme will provide you with the support and encouragement you need whilst you are with us.
As an SME, everyone’s contributions are valued, and ideas are listened to. You will be working with many departments and will really get involved in many aspects of our business.

- 28 days holiday entitlement - plus bank holidays. This equates to 36 days holiday per year (7 weeks and 1 day).

- Paid taxi service – If you don’t drive, but can get to Maidenhead Train station, we will take care of the rest.
You will need to be:
- A motivated self-starter who loves a challenge.
- Pragmatic. A straightforward approach to problems is essential in the SME world.
- Academic with an agile and questioning mind.
- A great team worker and happy to work independently.
- A clear thinker who can present information in a logical and succinct way.
- A great communicator, both verbal and written.
- Dynamic, committed, and hard-working.
