Role Overview
This Operations Human Resources Partner internship provides hands-on experience in HR within Amazon's operational network. The intern will support employees and leaders while learning how HR contributes to engagement, workforce decisions and organisational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Build knowledge of HR functions in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Support internal communications across teams and countries.
- Help prepare training plans and materials that address changing development needs.
- Respond to employee queries relating to attendance, engagement, compensation and other HR topics.
- Assist with routine HR administration and daily operational activity.
- Review processes and identify opportunities for simplification or automation.
- Compile workforce statistics, reports and performance information.
- Work with business leaders to align HR activity with organisational priorities.
Internship Experience
Work may include analysing workforce trends, supporting employee-relations activity and collaborating with operations leaders on training initiatives. Interns receive guidance from a mentor, structured learning, HR and IT support and access to an international intern community. Start dates are available from January through September 2027.
Basic Qualifications
- Penultimate- or final-year student working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Marketing, Social Sciences, Law or a related humanities discipline.
- English language ability at C1 level or above.
- Available for a full-time internship lasting between three and 12 months at 40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills.
- Curiosity, initiative and confidence working in an ambiguous, fast-paced setting.
Placement Length
The internship may last between three and 12 months.
