Graduate job

£140 - £160

This is not a typical graduate job.

We are looking for a bright, organised, grounded graduate to work closely with me in a part-time, adaptable role that combines practical responsibility with real exposure to how businesses — and leaders — actually operate.

The Role

This is a hands-on, trusted support role that spans both professional and personal life.

You will be involved in:

  • Coordinating tasks and keeping projects moving across different workstreams

  • Supporting thinking on business strategy, communications and new ideas

  • Researching potential clients, opportunities or ideas when needed

  • Organising travel between the UK and Italy

  • Managing my diary and scheduling, which includes work, travel and life logistics

  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, partners and collaborators when appropriate

Some days will be detailed and practical. Others will be more strategic and analytical. You’ll need to be comfortable switching context and taking responsibility.

Time commitment, adaptability & pay

This is not a full-time role.

In practice, it’s the equivalent of 2–3 days per week, with adaptability in how that time is structured. Some weeks will be steadier; others busier, depending on travel, deadlines or projects.

This role is designed to sit alongside someone’s own interests or independent work — for example developing a business idea, creative practice, or portfolio of projects. That adaptability is intentional.

What matters is that when you’re working, you are fully engaged, reliable and committed. This is not a stop-gap role or something to fill time while job hunting. We're looking to build a stable, long-term working relationship, even though the role itself is part-time.

If it works well for both sides, the role could evolve over time — including increased responsibility, time commitment or scope — but only by mutual agreement.

Pay:

The role will be paid on a day-rate basis, initially in the range of £140–£160 per day, depending on experience. There will be scope to review this as the role develops and potentially move to a more structured weekly or monthly arrangement if that suits both sides.

What good looks like after 3 months

After around three months, success in this role would look like:

  • You understand how we work and anticipate needs without being asked

  • The diary, travel and logistics run smoothly with minimal input from me

  • Projects and workstreams are kept moving without things slipping

  • You’re confident handling a wide mix of tasks and priorities

  • We operate with trust, ease and a shared understanding of what matters

At that point, we’d naturally discuss whether and how the role should evolve.

Who this suits

This role is for someone who:

  • Is highly organised and reliable

  • Has great common sense and good judgment

  • Is comfortable taking initiative without being told exactly what to do

  • Can communicate clearly and professionally

  • Is curious about business, strategy and how things work

You don’t need prior PA experience — but you do need discretion and the ability to handle responsibility.

Personality matters

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Warm, friendly and open

  • Calm under pressure

  • Not ego-driven

  • Able to deal with a demanding schedule and changing priorities

A sense of humour helps. Being human is essential.

Working style

  • Adaptable and non-corporate

  • Trust-based, not clock-watching

  • High standards, low hierarchy

  • Focused on outcomes, not appearances

Interested?

If this sounds like you, I’d love to hear from you.

Please send:

  • A CV

  • A short note explaining why this role appeals to you, and what you’re hoping to learn or gain from it

This role won’t suit everyone — but for the right person, it will be a unique and valuable opportunity.
