Placement Building Surveyor

Placements:

If successful you’d start with us in September 2027, joining as a cohort of four Placement students across our Building & Construction team. Two of which will be within Building Surveying. Starting with a robust induction period to understand the business, who we are and how we operate.

We’ve got a great track record of developing Placement Students here at Bruntwood SciTech, so you’ll get a really clear introduction to the world of surveying and Commercial Property, with real tangible on-the-job experience that will not only greatly help you with your studies in 3rd year, but will set the foundations of your career.

What we’re looking for:

• You’ll be studying Building Surveying, completing your 2nd year of study in 2027, ready to start a placement in September 2027. With a passion for Commercial Property and the impact this has on our cities and our communities
• Any employment during study or out of term time will be taken into consideration but is not essential
• You’ll resonate with our values, understanding how we operate and the key to our success
• You’ll be curious and eager to learn, willing to travel around our portfolio and ask questions. Looking to gather the knowledge to innovate and make an impact early within your role
• We’ll be taking into account your short paragraph on why you are interested, your favourite value of ours and why. As well as your biggest personal achievement - all questions asked on the application form.

What happens next?

• The closing date for applications will be Friday 30th October
• All applicants will receive feedback by Friday 20th November
• If your application is successful you’ll get a call from our Talent team to discuss the role, Bruntwood SciTech and the Assessment Day further
• The assessment day will be Tuesday 1st December, please make sure you are available for this day
• You’ll receive an email or a phone call with feedback by Wednesday 9th December depending on your preference.
