We are currently offering an opportunity for an undergraduate studying for their Law degree to join a placement scheme in our Commercial Property Team in Guildford.

About Our Commercial Property Team

Our Commercial Property team are experts in all matters relating to transactions involving commercial real estate, servicing a wide spectrum of clients from a variety of industry sectors.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• You will support the MTS Team with a broad range of administrative tasks, including the preparation of engagement letters, file opening and billing, document production, and general assistance to the legal support team as necessary.
• You will assist and support more senior members of the team with work or tasks as required.
• You will act as an initial point of contact for new enquiries, ensuring accurate details are taken from the potential client and referred on as appropriate.
• You will assist with arranging appointments and conferences.
• As required, you will assist with department activities, marketing, and networking events.
• You will liaise with clients when necessary to provide updates on their matters and answers to any of their questions and queries.
• We care deeply and as such, you will provide a highly attentive and client-focused approach.

What We Look For

• This scheme is available only to second-year law students. Please do not apply if you are not currently in your second-year of studies.
• You must be eligible to work full-time in the UK for the duration of the placement.
• Individuals with fantastic communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both clients and colleagues.
• Initiative for self-improvement, and a willingness to get stuck into new tasks and challenges required to meet individual and departmental objectives.
• A proactive and collaborative work ethic.
• The ability to time manage effectively, and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
