In this role, you will make an impact by:

  • Validating calibrations for the Engine Control Unit (ECU).

  • Analyzing data from the field and end users, troubleshooting and resolving issues of any size, and supporting the wider team in doing so.
  • Preparing and presenting technical documentation for design reviews as part of product development.
  • Work in cross-functional teams to develop products and resolve issues.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • To be currently studying a STEM subject at degree level, with an allowance for a 12-month industry placement.
  • A positive attitude towards learning new things, with the confidence to ask questions and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work well with others and build positive working relationships within the team.
  • Understand how engineering rules, guidelines, and best practices are applied. And be able to write clear and professional technical documents, such as test reports and design review material.
  • Ability to follow problem-solving processes to resolve issues.
  • Some experience or knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink is preferred.
