We are looking for an enthusiastic Packaging Data Analyst Student to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Corporate/CBS Segment in Daventry. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence 7th July 2025.
External Qualifications and Competencies
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Packaging Data Collection and Analysis from external suppliers and other Cummins sites, work with global supply chain partners on environmental packaging improvement
- Create reports and visualizations to understand supplier packaging data.
- Data Quality Improvement: Work with the data quality team to address gaps and improve the data collection process.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with external stakeholders to understand their packaging data needs and provide relevant insights.
- Data Monitoring and Cleaning: Monitor, audit, and clean data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Performance Monitoring: Build and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports related to packaging performance.
Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Working towards a degree in Business/Data Science/Supply Chain/Statistics/Business Analytics or related area.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel, Excel Macros, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Python.
- Previous experience as a data analyst.
- Positive attitude, great personal motivation; being proactive in a dynamic working environment.
