On the qualification side, you’ll need to have acquired an academic degree. For Operations Graduate Programme, we are particularly interested to hear from graduates with degrees in Operations Management, Business Related Degrees, Procurement. You must be proficient in English, and with opportunities across Europe you must be mobile and prepared to relocate geographically after the programme.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  1. Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.

  2. Manage day-to-day supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to agreed standards.

  3. Work with Operations teams and Newrest Head Office Procurement team to ensure suppliers achieve operational and financial targets.

  4. Point of contact for Operations and Finance teams and other internal stakeholders.

  5. Review and supervise RFP process.

  6. Ensure robust performance auditing against contractual SLAs/KPIs, management of contracts and benchmarking of service providers.

  7. Drive strategy of the category, collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive innovation, efficiencies, business development opportunities and generating additional value to both parties.

  8. Lead internal reviews with key stakeholders to identify business needs and tangible service improvements. Translating these into relationship development plans with suppliers.

  9. Develop and maintain plans to prioritize and implement continuous improvement in terms of service cost, risk and adaptability.

  10. Instigate and develop action plans to remedy poor supplier performance and manage through to conclusion.

  11. Ensure smooth implementation of service improvement projects and successful handovers to operational business stakeholders.

  12. Lead market scanning and benchmarking to monitor the direction of the supply market, whilst ensuring competitiveness of the supply base and shaping the strategy of the category.

  13. Provide regular Management Information reports and updates for the business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  14. Monitoring and driving corrective action for Invoice Price Variances (IPV), Purchase Price Variances (PPV), year on year deflation (YOY).

  15. Engagement with key stakeholders, managing financial elements of materials and cost impact.

  16. Work on own initiative working at pace and with a high level of accuracy.

  17. Prioritize workload in a pressurized environment to ensure duties are carried out in a timely manner. Present accurate information and data as requested.

  18. Ensure full CAA compliance end to end.

  19. Responsible for the day-to-day management of Winrest procurement side: capturing and updating products data (new pricing, codes, supplier information etc).

  20. Placing online orders for items that are not in the internal software.
