Production Apprenticeship 2025 - Burnaston

This exciting 12 month production apprenticeship, in partnership with Burton and South Derbyshire College, will teach you the practical skills and theory necessary to become a member working on our production line, manufacturing the Toyota Corolla. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will receive a Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative (LMO) Diploma and a guaranteed permanent position at Toyota as a production team member in one of our 7 production areas.

What will you be doing?

• Being taught in our onsite Manufacturing Skills Development Centre, you will develop the skills to carry out production processes safely, efficiently and to outstanding quality.
• You will spend 4 days a week undertaking practical training on the production line and 1 day based in the classroom learning production theory in our onsite Manufacturing Skills Development Centre.
• You will undertake 3 production placements in our various shops.
• To develop your teamwork, communication and leadership skills, you will also spend time away from site on an outward bound residential and community volunteer project.
• You will be taught about the Toyota Production System and our core philosophies of Continuous Improvement and Respect for People.

Grade 3 or above in GCSE English and Maths is desired for this apprenticeship.
