Role Overview:

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor Placement Student to support the commercial and financial management of construction projects by assisting with cost control, valuations, subcontractor payments, contract administration, and maintaining strong working relationships to help ensure successful project delivery.

What You'll be Doing

The Placement Quantity Surveyor supports the successful financial delivery of projects by assisting with cost control, monthly valuations, variations and change orders, while contributing to job costing reviews and final accounts. The role involves supporting the commercial management of projects by liaising with clients, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams, preparing and processing valuations and payments, and ensuring documentation and correspondence are completed accurately and on time. The Placement Quantity Surveyor also assists with contract reviews, subcontractor engagement and negotiations, preparation of subcontract documents, and provides commercial support and advice to Project Managers, Senior Quantity Surveyors, and senior management as required.
