Key Responsibilities
- Support race strategy and tyre performance engineers with their race weekend operations and simulation activities.
- Support post-session and post-event reporting on car and team performance.
- Assist in the development and improvement of race strategy and tyre performance tools, systems, and supporting infrastructure.
- Contribute to competitor analysis and tyre performance analysis to support strategic decision making.
- Assist in the development and refinement of race strategy and tyre performance operational processes and methodologies.
- Work closely with the wider Performance and Race Engineering groups to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable analysis.
- Produce clear reports and visualisations to communicate insights, trends, and performance findings.
- Develop and maintain department administration and reporting procedures.

What do you need to bring to the team?
- Science, Computer Science, or a related discipline (ideally on a placement year as part of your course).
- Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, with a genuine interest in motorsport performance and race strategy.
- Excellent numerical ability and confidence working with data in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Proactive mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a high-performance team environment.
- Experience with data analysis tools, coding, or scripting (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar) would be advantageous.
- Experience working with large datasets, data visualisation, or simulation tools would be beneficial.
- A passion for Formula 1® and an understanding of the strategic elements of race weekend operations is highly desirable.
